The Rocky Mountain Innovation Initiative (RMI2) is a 501c3 non-profit corporation formed to accelerate the success of high-impact scientific and technology startup companies and promote the development of a regional entrepreneurial ecosystem in Northern Colorado. RMI2 provides entrepreneurial startup companies with resources such as subsidized facilities, assistance with raising capital, access and connections with academic and government institutions, a network of advisors and mentors including several who are in residence, discounted professional service providers and educational and networking opportunities for for realizing business success.
RMI2 looks forward to serving the Northern Colorado scientific and technology entreprenuerial community with a new, state of the art LEED Gold office/lab/conference facility which is currently under construction and targeted for completion in Q4 2010.
Looking ahead, we have set ambitious goals for the companies supported by RMI2.
RMI2 Five-Year Goals:
Assist more than 40 new startup companies which will:
Raise more than $120 million in capital and
Create more than 400 new primary jobs with salaries greater than $70,000.
